Record Description
This maiden wych elm, one of the finest trees of this species to survive in Swaledale is 4.2m girth and is one of a number of native tree of many different species, including crab apple, ash, hazel, holly, rowan,blackthorn and hawthorn which form the relict hedgerows lining this ancient track.
